Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Agro Vahini ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our customer app, delivery partner app, or website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: your name, phone number, email address, and profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In).
Delivery information: saved addresses, delivery instructions, and location data used to fulfil your orders.
Order information: items purchased, order value, payment method, and order history.
Payment information: processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank details on our own servers.
Device information: device type, operating system, app version, and a push-notification token, used to keep the app working reliably and to send you order updates.

Delivery Partner Data

When you apply for or use an Agro Vahini delivery partner account, we may additionally collect and process:

Application and KYC information: identity or vehicle documents you choose to submit for review.
Vehicle information: vehicle type and registration number.
Partner status: application approval or rejection status, account activation status, and whether you choose to appear online for deliveries.
Delivery activity: accepted assignments, order-status updates, cancellations, delivery confirmations, and related timestamps.
Customer delivery data: the customer name, phone number, delivery address, instructions, and order details needed to complete an assigned delivery.

KYC documents are available only to authorised Agro Vahini administrators for application review, safety, fraud prevention, and legal or operational requirements. Delivery partners must not retain or use customer information for any purpose unrelated to completing the assigned delivery.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your account, and process and deliver your orders.
Review delivery partner applications, manage approval and availability, assign deliveries, and maintain delivery records.
Communicate order status, offers, and important service updates.
Improve the Service, troubleshoot issues, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Comply with legal obligations, including tax and business record-keeping requirements.

Location Data

For customers, we use a location detected with permission or an address entered manually to determine the delivery destination and confirm that it falls within our service area in Alwar. The delivery partner app receives the destination coordinates for assigned orders and can open them in an external navigation app. Agro Vahini does not continuously track a partner's location in the background.

We share information only where necessary to operate the Service:

With our delivery partners, limited to what is needed to complete your delivery (name, address, phone number, order details).
With customers, limited delivery partner details such as the assigned partner's name and contact number for order coordination.
With authorised Agro Vahini administrators who review partner applications, KYC documents, and delivery operations.
With our payment gateway partner (Razorpay), to process payments securely.
With an external maps or navigation provider when a delivery partner chooses to open a customer's destination in that provider.
With infrastructure providers (such as Firebase/Google Cloud) that host our app and data.
When required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted data transmission and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain customer and delivery partner account information while the account is active and as needed to operate the Service. Partner application, KYC, vehicle, and delivery records are retained for review, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. Your Rights & Choices

You can review available profile and partner information from within the relevant app. You can manage notification permissions from your device settings and request correction of inaccurate information by contacting support. Customer and delivery partner accounts can request deletion as described on our Account Deletion page.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
